Written and spoken communication workshops

Writing and speaking are two very different skills, acquired in very different ways. As experts in both written and spoken communication we run intensive one and two-day writing and speaking workshops designed to give you the skills and confidence to write and speak clearly, fluently and precisely so that you can convey your message in the most effective way possible.

Courses are pitched at different levels depending on the experience, expertise and needs of the delegates. They could for example take place over half a day, with delegates being introduced to, and learning, the necessary skills of the professional writer (literature) and the other half spent learning, among other things, how to craft and structure the material, as well as preparing mentally, physically and emotionally for the delivery of a speech (language).

Or the two skills could be integrated where the delegates learn how to research and draft a speech for the ear and not the eye, and then how to deliver it in a dynamic and effective manner.

Our courses encourage delegates to question their accepted practices, explore alternatives, review their present habits and move forward with enjoyment and enthusiasm. These courses can take place over a half day or full day and fit very well as part of a company-training programme. They are delivered throughout the UK as well as in other parts of the world.
