Writing Strategy and Policy DocumentsThe writing of strategy and policy documents, for internal or external purposes, should comprise an important part of a company's communications strategy. These documents are designed to convey important information about an organisation to those who need to know, such as employees, investors and shareholders.

Strategy and policy documents can be a highly effective platform from which employees and management can discuss and debate new initiatives, such as a change in working practices, or management structure, or simply to convey management perspectives on various issues. Whatever the reason these documents can help to strengthen internal communications and can form the basis of useful discussion and debate.
