Ensuring a presentation is successful takes time and effort but there are ways to achieve the desired result. Simply learn to apply the techniques and tricks used by the professionals.

In today's competitive market, presenters must be evermore skilled, assured, energised, fluent and persuasive. They must use dynamic and relevant vocabulary and talk to, engage, inspire and motivate their audience, be it an audience of two or three, or a large hall full of disenchanted delegates. They must aim to be spontaneous and immediate in their delivery and be able to start at their best at all times, whatever the agenda or competition, enjoy the challenge and relish the opportunities it affords.

It is not sufficient to be adequate, passable or safe, or to impress by the number and complexity of visual aids. To excel and impress and do full justice to the information, company and yourself, it is essential to become an expert in your field.

At PCA we have 20 years of presentation training experience at the highest level, nationally and internationally. We do not deal with the "quick fix" but with the in-depth teaching of the necessary physical, vocal, intellectual and emotional skills needed to handle this exciting, daunting, and demanding experience. All aspects of presentation are included in this intensive and bespoke training.

Method

Each programme is tailored especially for the needs of the client. The occasion, the experience and style of the speaker(s), subject, audience, posture, movement, voice and vocal delivery, choice and use of visual aids, venue, form and style of notes (whether they are full-script, bullet points, autocue etc) are all considered. Preparing for, and practising, how to respond to questions both expected and unexpected constitutes a core part of the training. 

The sessions are recorded and replayed for analysis and constructive comment. All sessions and information are confidential. The video and a pack of notes are given to each participant and a detailed report is also compiled and sent out within a few days encapsulating all the feedback and suggestions arising from the training.

This training can take place at the client's own premises or we can organise a training facility in a suitable location. It can take place in small groups or one-to-one, depending on the needs of the company or trainees.

This training is not just for the "big occasion", for participants can apply the skills and techniques learned on ongoing basis.  A free follow up service for queries and problems is always available.
