Our philosophy

At Powerful Communication Associates we focus on developing all aspects of effective communication.  Our training is high energy and very practical - resulting in immediate positive changes back in the workplace.  Individuals are inspired and empowered as they develop a range of communication skills which, when put together can be transformational.

Our bespoke training is highly personalised and we enable and encourage delegates to find and develop their own individual communication style - rather than getting them to 'conform' to a 'communication model'.

We develop the physical, emotional and intellectual aspects of the individual to give them the confidence to communicate effectively.  A key aspect of our training is to ensure that delegates prepare for speech rather than print - we help them to get the right balance between style and substance. We also spend time showing delegates how to structure an effective presentation.  This holistic approach develops individuals into confident communicators that are listened to and remembered.

We operate in a safe learning environment with full delegate involvement.  Our approach is to continually build confidence in the individual.

Our communication training sessions include such elements as:

•  Techniques on how to prepare for speaking - both physically and emotionally
•  Filmed practise sessions which are replayed and analysed
•  Constructive feedback
•  Warm-up vocal exercises 
•  Preparation and use of visual aids
•  Guidance on projection, tone and vocal delivery

All delegates are given a DVD of their session, personal feedback notes and a toolkit of techniques and skills they can use back in the workplace.  We are happy to offer an "after-care" service to individuals who have attended our communication training courses to ensure they continue to develop their effective communication skills.
