The communication review

The Communication ReviewOur communication review offers an organisation a comprehensive examination and assessment of its communication strategy. It is conducted by a series of interviews and/or focus groups, and on and off-line surveys, depending on the depth of review to be undertaken.  A detailed written report with recommendations is always provided.

How will a communication review benefit your organisation?

A communication review will:

  • Help your organisation better respond to the demands of its customers/clients, investors and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure your organisation portrays a "consistent" image and that the "actual" perception matches the "required" one.
  • Improve the image of your organisation to those outside it as well as strengthening a positive corporate culture for those inside it.
  • Encourage the sharing of information and the generation of more innovative ideas, enabling you to not only compete with, but to stay ahead of, the competition.
  • Enable management to better communicate changes in company structure and strategy to other parts of the organisation

How it works?

  • We look at an organisation's communication strategy from an internal and  external perspective and assess, plan, recommend and, if required, help to execute the recommendations. We will also measure the effectiveness of any new campaign or tactics employed.
  • An external communication review takes a snapshot of current communication efforts, the climate for communication, the issues and image perceptions being faced, and the communication needs and patterns of the target audience.
  • We look at how an organisation is perceived and the best ways of bridging the gap between "actual" and "required" perception. We will not only consider the effectiveness of an organisation's media and public relations campaigns but we will also look at its relationship with suppliers and other third parties.
  • We help an organisation identify clear strategic goals and messaging and build a carefully tailored communication mix that maximises value, impact and reach. We aim to find the perfect medium for the message whether it is research-led reports, newsletters, online messages or conference presentations.
  • Our internal communication review is based on our belief in creating an environment in which there is a high degree of interaction and sharing of ideas, and where innovative thinking is not only encouraged but is rewarded. We find ways of tackling problems such as the hoarding of information - breaking the belief that knowledge is power -and information overload. To encourage the sharing of information we offer solutions so that we can better communicate with one another. The ability to articulate thoughts and ideas confidently, fluently  should fall at the very heart of a communication strategy.
