Voiceover training services

Although voiceover training is specialised it is great fun to acquire. The training takes place in a sound recording studio where vocal delivery is matched to film. Accuracy, timing, tone and modulation all come under the microscope because of the need for detailed and precise control and delivery.

The techniques are described and illustrated, and then practised. The needs of the sound controller and the necessary working relationship are fully explained.  Different styles of film and script are used. If preferred, the trainees can use their own film and/or script.

Trainees are taught to adapt their vocal delivery to suit different styles of film and how to capture and reflect the tone of the images, mood and purpose of the film with sensitivity. The voiceover needs to complement the film. In essence, it is a partnership of sound and vision.

Based in London our voiceover service can be delivered all over the UK and Europe. It is particularly geared to organisations who are making a corporate video or something similar.
