Voice work
Yet companies spend vast amounts of money, as well as time, preparing for presentations, pitches and conferences, focusing on what is to be said, and neglecting to consider how it will sound and be received. It is often assumed, wrongly, that you are born with your vocal tone and style and that nothing can be done about it. The voice and vocal delivery can be honed and developed like any other set of muscles. It is a simple matter of learning new habits and practising. This is not a "politically correct" exercise. All speakers need to find their own voice, one which reflects and does justice to their integrity and persona. Good vocal training sounds easy, natural and confident, But the technique should not only be "switched on" for the big occasion for it is a life skill, an element of personal development to be used for all aspects of personal and professional communication. Our London office can organise the necessary sessions all over the world and, providing the suggested exercises are done regularly, lasting improvements will be quickly achieved. | |||||
